The Mihelič Gallery is named after the great Slovenian artist France Mihelič, who donated his extensive graphic collection and his entire artistic legacy on paper to Ptuj. It is housed in an old tower along the Drava, built in 1551, which was once part of the Renaissance defense system of Ptuj. Two permanent collections are on display in the gallery: the Graphic Cabinet of France Mihelič and the Graphic Collection of Luigi Kasimir. The gallery hosts exhibitions and events of domestic and foreign contemporary fine art.
